Abstract

The article analyzes the place of Tajikistan within the framework of China’s Belt and Road Initiative and the European Union’s Global Gateway. It is noted that cooperation with China and the European Union in the development of the economic and social sphere of the country is timely and important, and also has mutual benefits. The author notes that against the backdrop of the developing great game, both projects emphasize the strategically advantageous position of Central Asia, which opens up new prospects and opportunities. Since the main part and key territory of the Belt and Road project is the Central Asian region.
