Abstract

The article concludes that the insufficient availability of loans for agricultural production in the conditions of modern Tajikistan is concerned by the low level of development of the domestic financial sector, its banking subsystem, the limited state budget to support agriculture, institutional problems, the low level of development of production and financial security of agricultural producers, their low creditworthiness, individuals of medium and small agricultural production entities. A generalization of foreign experience has revealed that financing and lending of agricultural production in different countries of the world is carried out using a variety of approaches, systems and forms of organizing lending to the agricultural sector: from financially stable banking and non-bank credit systems (in developed countries) to state-supported non-banking systems close to self-financing - credit unions and cooperatives, loan offices, etc. (in Eastern European countries) and financially unstable banking and non-banking systems operating with government funding (Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, etc.).
