Current state of cultural event tourism in the Russian Federation
Abstract
The article analyzes the state of cultural event tourism in the Russian Federation, taking into account world experience. The purpose of the study is to assess the prospects for the development of this type of event tourism. As a result of the study, the directions of cultural event tourism have been established in which the Russian Federation is an order of magnitude behind the leading countries in the number of cultural events of an event nature held per million inhabitants.
