Approaches to defining the essence of "innovation" in domestic and foreign science

Abstract
The article discusses the terms "innovative business model", "innovation", describes the stages of the process of creating innovation. The authors compare different approaches to defining the essence of "innovation" in domestic and foreign literature, focus on foreign sources in which scientists describe innovation as a result, change and process. Based on the analysis of the studied approaches, the effectiveness of innovative development is evaluated.
