Theoretical aspects of economic development
Abstract
Previously, the management of the economy was carried out by state structures according to a single plan. At the same time, there was no competition, contractual relations, and engineering was not considered as a type of service, its role in the development of the economy was not observed. During Russia's transition to market relations, it became relevant to study the experience of countries with developed economies in the organization and operation of facilities, the provision of services, in particular engineering. Developed foreign countries have accumulated a wealth of experience in the interaction of the structures of the main and auxiliary industries and their management in the conditions of market relations and fierce competition. The use of their experience is relevant for the subjects of the Russian economy. Currently, various types and forms of enterprise associations are being created in Russia, characterized by the concentration of production and financial resources and the centralization of management, which allows creating a powerful structure stable in the market through mergers and acquisitions of various enterprises, as a result of which it is possible to ensure the competitiveness of the functioning of the business in terms of the provision of engineering services. The multifunctionality of engineering services, which are one of the most important types of the service sector, including elements of logistics activities, has led to the urgency of developing various management approaches. However, the issues of functioning of market structures for the provision of engineering services have not yet been worked out in sufficient detail. Therefore, the development of the theory and practice of creating and managing economic structures, in particular in the service sector, is an urgent problem of the economy.
